The Salisbury Falcon baseball team is a new team that is entering the Lehigh Valley Baseball League during the 2020 season. The team consists of a majority of Salisbury Township High School alumni who are coming back together to play on the same team again. The Lehigh Valley Baseball League is an adult baseball league that plays games every Sunday from the middle of April to the middle of August. It is an established league for many years that includes two divisions with a total of approximately 25 teams. Each season, a team is required to pay a league fee of $1,400. In addition to that, the team is required to pay umpires every game and to pay for baseballs and other equipment throughout the year. The estimated total cost for the 2020 season is $2,500. I would like our players to pay as little money as possible to play, so a fundraiser like this is a great opportunity for the team to work toward our goal of $2,500.
